ABC’s Christiane Amanpour Speaks to Libyan Leader Moammar Gadhafi

In a U.S. exclusive, ABC’s Christiane Amanpour spoke to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi today. ABC broke into regularly scheduled programming around 1 PM to preview the discussion.

The interview will air on “ABC World News” and “Nightline” this evening, as well as “Good Morning America” tomorrow morning.

Gadhafi also spoke to the BBC and the Times of London.

This is the second big “get” for Amanpour in the region in recent weeks. The ABC anchor also secured the only interview with Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, just a few days before he resigned and fled Cairo.
