Anatomy of an Ambush

The O’Reilly Factor is known for its ambushes, and producer Jesse Watters is usually the one doing the ambushing.

ThinkProgress.org’s Amanda Terkel writes about her personal experience this Saturday.

Terkel says she was on vacation a few hours from her D.C. home when Watters and another FNCer approached her and “immediately began asking me why I was causing ‘pain and suffering’ to the Alexa Foundation.”

Bill O’Reilly was the featured speaker at an Alexa Foundation (an organization that helps families of rape victims) benefit this weekend. Terkel wrote earlier this month about comments O’Reilly made about a rape victim in 2006 and 2007.

“O’Reilly never asked me for a statement nor invited me on his show before sending Watters to harass me,” writes Terkel. We hear the ambush will be discussed on tonight’s Factor.
