The New York Daily News writes about Charlie Gibson‘s upcoming interview with Michael Kay on the YES Network’s “CenterStage.”

The ABC World News anchor reveals he considered a career in sports journalism, but decided against it. “I began to realize that sports journalism was so difficult because if you cover a team, you have to stay in the good graces of that team,” he said. “But, I really did think about it for a long time,” he said.

The interview airs Thursday at 10pmET.
