Andrea Canning Leaving ABC News, NBC’s ‘Dateline’ Likely Next Stop

ABC News correspondent Andrea Canning is leaving the network, TVNewser has learned. ABC and Canning officially parted ways last week, we hear.

No official word yet on where Canning will end up, but a source familiar with her move says that she is going to NBC News, where she will most likely end up as a correspondent on “Dateline.”

Canning joined ABC News in 2004 as the Washington correspondent for its affiliate service NewsOne. Prior to joining ABC she worked in a number of local markets in the U.S. and Canada.
