AP Clarifies: Olbermann Didn’t Accuse Fox Of Hacking Into His E-mail
the AP’s original story about Keith Olbermann‘s appearance at the TCA press tour included this eye-opening sentence: “Olbermann said his phone number has been distributed at Fox and his e-mail hacked into.”
This afternoon, the AP issued this clarification: “The story should have been clearer about the e-mail reference, which was not intended to suggest Fox hacked into Olbermann’s e-mail.” It turns out Olbermann didn’t link the e-mail and phone comments. At the press tour, he said: “My e-mails have been hacked into. My phone number has been distributed at Fox.”
