Barbara Walters to Interview President Obama, First Lady for Primetime Thanksgiving Special

ABC’s Barbara Walters will interview President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for a primetime special to air the day after Thanksgiving.

The program, “A Barbara Walters Special: A Thanksgiving Visit with President and Mrs. Obama,” will air at 10 PM on Friday, November 26, in “20/20″‘s time period. The interview will be conducted at the White House November 23.

It is the second joint interview the first couple has given to Walters, the first being in late 2008, shortly after the Presidential election. It will also be the first interview Michelle Obama has given since the midterm elections.

Excerpts from the interview will also run on “Good Morning America,” “ABC World News,” “Nightline” and “The View.”
