Last night, as the story of the impending resignation of White House OMB director Peter Orszag was making its way onto the internets, ABCNews.com had this headline, which, when it was posted at 8:06pmET, did not link to any story:

White House Budget Director Peter Orszag Will Step Down in the Coming Weeks, Sources Tell ABC News

This had some wondering if the ABC News source was Bianna Golodryga who is engaged to Orszag. Golodryga, who was named co-anchor of Good Morning America weekend last month and also covers business for ABC News, and Orszag will be married in September.

But TVNewser has learned it was White House correspondent Jake Tapper‘s reporting that led to the ABCNews.com headline. The story was first reported by Bloomberg News just after 7pmET. Tapper’s reporting, however, had a more specific time frame of Orszag’s departure being “the next few weeks.”

Currently, ABCNews.com is linking to an AP story on Orszag’s future.
