Fox News host Bill O’Reilly dedicated a segment of his program last week to “reviews” of TV news journalists on other outlets. The evening news anchors, along with a handful of cable and morning anchors, were scrutinized for bias, mostly based on whether they once worked for a politician, are registered to vote or gave money to a campaign. O’Reilly seemed to find CBS’ Scott Pelley the fairest of them all, though many of the quotes he featured look to be cherry-picked.
