Bloomberg’s Margaret Brennan and Lara Setrakian Report Live From Cairo

Time to fire up the Bloomberg-ABC News rumor mill again. As we reported earlier, all three business news channels had live coverage as Hosni Mubarak relinquished power in Egypt. Both Bloomberg and Fox Business Network have correspondents in Cairo, filing reports over the past few days.

In the case of Bloomberg, Margaret Brennan and Lara Setrakian have been reporting from just above Tahrir Square. Setrakian is a Dubai-based correspondent for ABC News, and has been reporting on the crisis for Bloomberg extensively over the last three weeks.

Update: ABC News tells us that Setrakian actually works for Bloomberg, although she does contribute occasionally to ABC programming.

Bloomberg TV is planning a live special on the situation in Egypt for 6 PM ET, with reports by Brennan.

Interestingly enough, Brennan speaks Arabic, having studied in Jordan in college.
