Brian Williams to Interview Steve Burke in Comcast-NBCU Town Hall All-Staff Meeting

TVNewser hears that “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams will interview the new CEO of NBC Universal, Steve Burke, (pictured right) in a company town-hall meeting next Thursday, January 27.  Comcast is expected to finalize the deal on January 28.

“You are invited to be a part of history!  To celebrate the formation of the new NBC Universal, we invite you to join our new CEO Steve Burke for a global all-employee broadcast on January 27, moderated by Brian Williams,” an email to staffers says.

The town hall will be broadcast internally, and will also be streamed online on the employee intranet.

Employees may also submit questions to be asked of Burke, who is replacing the outgoing CEO Jeff Zucker.

The FCC and Department of Justice approved the deal, with conditions, yesterday.
