Brokaw Fills in for Gregory on Sunday’s ‘MTP’
Tom Brokaw moderates “Meet the Press” this Sunday, the first time David Gregory will be sitting out a week since he took over the show in 2008. (Note: This will be the actual Tom Brokaw, not David Gregory doing his spot-on impression of Brokaw.) Guests include David Axelrod, Karl Rove, Rep. James Clyburn, and Sen. Dick Durbin.
“I appreciate Tom doing it,” Gregory tells us. “the program is obviously in great and familiar hands while I’m away.”
And if an hour of Sunday political discussion isn’t enough, Brokaw’s “Operation Yellow Ribbon” is being rebroadcast on MSNBC over the weekend. Brokaw served as interim “MTP” moderator after the passing of Tim Russert in June 2008.
