Burnett This Year’s Biz News Hot List-er

Another year, another business news anchor making The Hot List.

CNBC anchor Erin Burnett continues to make media headlines, as TV Week names her to its Hot List for 2008.

Burnett was the only TV news personality on the list.

“Part of it is she’s really genuine in liking what she does. That’s thing No. 1,” said SVP Jonathan Wald. “Thing No. 2 is she thinks like a producer, and I think that’s helpful for talent.”

Last year, FBN’s Alexis Glick was the only TV news anchor to make the list.

CNN American Morning pop culture correspondent Lola Ogunnaike is a runner-up (“On the Horizon”) this year.
