Cable News Turns To Penn State Punishments
Monday morning kicked off with big news in the college football world, as the NCAA levied a heavy punishment against Penn State for the actions of former coach Jerry Sandusky, and the subsequent cover-up. The punishment was severe: a $60 million fine, banishment from any playoff or Bowl games for four years, and taking away all wins earned at the school from 1998-2011.
All of the generalist cable news channels covered it, as did Fox Business Network and–of course–ESPN.
