Cablers Cover Stories From Local News
Two of the stories being covered this weekend on the cablers relate to and originate from local news outlets:
• KATV reporter Anne Pressly died last night from injuries she sustained when she was found beaten in her home last Sunday. Police have yet to identify a suspect in the case.
KATV is the ABC affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas.
• Besides coverage on the cablers, Sen. Joe Biden‘s contentious interview with WFTV anchor Barbara West has become a web hit, and has spent most of the weekend on Drudge Report. The Obama campaign called it “an unprofessional interview,” and Jill Biden‘s upcoming interview with the Orlando ABC station was canceled.
