CBS Announces Dozier Primetime Special

CBS has announced a primetime special about the aftermath of Kimberly Dozier‘s critical injuries in Iraq last Memorial Day.

“Flashpoint: Kimberly Dozier and the Army’s Fourth ID — A Story Of Bravery, Recovery And Lives Forever Changed” airs on Tuesday, May 29 at 10pm — exactly one year after “a car bomb in Baghdad killed CBS News cameraman Paul Douglas and soundman James Brolan, as well as Army Capt. James Funkhouser and his Iraqi translator.”

The broadcast will have “one network sponsor and limited commercial interruptions.” Katie Couric anchors the special.

Paul Ryan, Michael McHugh and Chris Young are the producers, Judy Tygard is the senior producer and Susan Zirinsky is the executive producer.
