CBS Reporter Injured in Afghanistan Is Stable
TVNewser has learned that CBS Reporter Cami McCormick underwent successful surgeries in Afghanistan and is in stable condition. On Friday, McCormick was injured when an IED hit a vehicle she had been traveling in with members of the U.S. Army. She had been on assignment for CBS Radio News in the Logar Province of Afghanistan.
The last we had heard, she was stable after surgery in a field hospital, but was being transported to Bagram Air Base for additional treatment. The latest surgeries have apparently gone well and McCormick has now been moved to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany for further treatment.
