Cheney Praises Wife’s “Slapdown” Of Blitzer

Vice President Dick Cheney thinks his wife Lynne Cheney put on a “sterling performance” on CNN Friday. That’s what he told Neil Cavuto in an interview set to air on FNC at 4pm.

“I thought it was great. We refer to it around the house as the ‘slapdown.’ And she was very tough, but she was very accurate and very aggressive,” Cheney said. Drudge has a partial transcript.
