Ron Insana signed off as host of CNBC's Street Signs this afternoon. He becomes a "senior analyst" for the network tomorrow. "It's been an honor and privilege to see the world from the vantage point I've had over the last 22 years. I've met some of the world's powerful and interesting people and worked with the best professionals in the field of business journalism," he said. His full sign-off is after the jump...
RON INSANA: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT READ THIS IN THE PAPER OR HEARD OTHERWISE, I SHOULD LET YOU KNOW THAT TODAY I'M TAKING ON A NEW ROLE ON CNBC AND THAT WILL START TOMORROW. IT'S BEEN A HONOR AND PRIVILEGE TO SEE THE WORLD FROM THE VANTAGE POINT I'VE HAD OVER THE LAST 22 YEARS AND THE MET SOME OF THE WORLD'S POWERFUL AND INTERESTING PEOPLE AND WORKED WITH THE BEST PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD OF BUSINESS JOURNALISM AND SPENDING ALMOST ALL OF MY ADULT LIFE AND LAST 15 YEARS WORKING FOR THE THREE BEST COMBINED COMPANIES AROUND. CNBC, NBC AND GENERAL ELECTRIC. I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES I'VE BEEN GIVEN AND I'D LIKE TO THANK MY ESTEEMED COLLEAGUES, MANAGEMENT.
