CNN Anchor Soledad O’Brien Injured: Is she OK?
Soledad O’Brien is recovering from a knee injury after being thrown from a horse last weekend in Brewster, NY.
“She is okay and handling it very well,” a CNN spokesperson told TVNewser, “Right now she’s in a knee brace and crutches. Although she is moving at snail speed, she’s not canceling any upcoming reporting.”
O’Brien has a lot on her schedule right now: her new documentary, “Almighty Debt,” which will debut two weeks from today, election coverage leading up to midterms, and her promotional tour for her new book, “The Next Big Story: My Journey Through the Land of Possibilities” coming out on November 2. Somewhere during all this, she’ll need to pencil in surgery which requite 6 to 8 weeks of recovery.
As she told us in a Media Beat interview in August, O’Brien works on six documentaries at any given time. Watch, after the jump…
