CNN Snags First Interview With Imam Behind Controversial Community Center and Mosque

CNN has secured the first television interview with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the proposed Islamic community center and mosque near Ground Zero in Manhattan.

The interview will air during “Larry King Live” tonight, with Soledad O’Brien filling in for King.

Will Rauf has been seen regularly on cable news over the past month or so, it has always been in clip form. His appearance will be his first TV interview since the controversy erupted.
