CNN’s Erica Hill to Fill In on The Early Show

From the why don’t you merge already file comes word that CNN’s Erica Hill will co-anchor CBS’ The Early Show tomorrow morning.

Hill moved to New York earlier this year, where she is a correspondent and fill in anchor on Anderson Cooper 360. Before that she was an anchor for Headline News in Atlanta.

This is the latest, albeit subtle, coming together of CNN and CBS News. Cooper is a semi-regular on 60 Minutes. Dr. Sanjay Gupta appears on the CBS Evening News and this Spring it was revealed that CBS and CNN execs had been discussing resource sharing in Baghdad.
