CNN’s Paul Steinhauser Responds to ‘Tonight Show’ Comedy Bit: ‘I am a popular guy here at CNN’
On “The Tonight Show” this week, Jay Leno played a series of clips showing a CNN staffer picking up the phone over and over while appearing behind anchors and correspondents in the newsroom.
The staffer in the bit is CNN deputy political director Paul Steinhauser. Steinhauser appeared on CNN today to talk to anchor T.J. Holmes about the “Tonight Show,” bit, and what he is really doing when he picks up the phone in the newsroom;
