Colorado Shooting: Denver Anchor in New York Visiting ‘World News Now’
Jeremy Hubbard is the former anchor of “World News Now.” He left ABC in 2010 for a job as main anchor at Denver Fox station KDVR. But Hubbard happened to be in New York for a wedding this weekend. At 3:15amET, just as the massacre back in Aurora was unfolding, he dropped by his old show. His former co-anchor Vinita Nair joined him.
About 90 minutes later, at 4:53amET, “World News Now” anchors Rob Nelson and Paula Farris led a special report (video after the jump) that was broadcast with coverage from ABC affiliate KMGH, which, as TVSPY reports, first began reporting the story around 2:40amMT.
