Correspondent Maria Hinojosa Leaves CNN

“Maria Hinojosa, our urban affairs correspondent, has chosen to leave CNN to pursue other ventures,” an internal CNN e-mail says today. “From the time she joined the network in May 1997, Maria has provided numerous reports exploring such volatile issues as immigration, border protection and inner-city violence. We thank Maria for her memorable contributions and wish her the best in all of her endeavors.”
