Blaming Couric's Low-Rated Lead-Ins
In Monday morning's USA Today, Sean McManus "notes that low-rated local newscasts leading into Evening News -- CBS' traditional handicap -- have also hurt [Katie] Couric, just as they hurt anchor Dan Rather for years."
