David Gregory on MTP: ‘I Feel Unquestionably More Comfortable in the Chair and the Role’
Marketwatch.com’s Jon Friedman talks with NBC’s David Gregory who’s been in the “Meet the Press” moderator chair a little over a year.
Gregory made some news about the public affairs show: that it will soon get a new set which will include Gregory not being “chained to his chair,” Friedman writes. The show will also go HD.
Gregory also continues to emerge from the late Tim Russert‘s long shadow. “As the year has gone on, I feel unquestionably more comfortable in the chair and the role.
“Unquestionably, I feel like this is my program. The successful transition is complete,” Gregory says.
But there’s still one unmet goal: snaring his No. 1 get: Pres. Obama, “exclusively — and for the full hour.”
