Denver Police Arrest ABC News Reporter

ABCArrest_8.27.jpgA reporter with Brian Ross‘s investigative team at ABC News was arrested today for taking pictures of Democratic Senators and VIP donors as they left a private meeting at the Brown’s Palace Hotel in Denver.

Police arrested Asa Eslocker on charges of trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order. Eslocker was put in handcuffs and loaded in the back of a police van. His cameraman captured it all. And you can expect to see the story, including the videotaped arrest, tonight on World News.

Eslocker and his ABC News colleagues are in Denver investigating the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors at the convention for a series of Money Trail reports.
