Despite 'Monday Night Football' Win, MLB League Championship Series Games Up For Fox, TBS
ESPN’s Monday Night Football may have topped game three of the American League Championship Series last night, but don’t count out baseball just yet.
Major League Baseball says that LCS coverage on TBS and is averaging 7.6 million viewers through the first five games. That is up 9%^ to last year’s LCS through five games, and is the best since Fox and TBS started sharing LCS coverage in 2006.
This was despite the competition from the NFL on Sunday and Monday, and the fact that some three million Cablevision customers could not watch the NLCS due to a retransmission dispute with Fox.
