Diane Sawyer Is One Of Forbes’ “Most Powerful,” But Barbara Walters Is Not

Diane Sawyer is more powerful than Barbara Walters. That’s the word from Forbes Magazine, which has published its second annual list of the 100 Most Powerful Women. Last year, Walters came in at #25, and Sawyer was right below at #26.

But this year, Walters didn’t even make the cut. Sawyer was ranked #55.

At #47, NBC ‘Today Show’ host Katie Couric is one of the top media mavens on the list. CNN super-correspondent Christiane Amanpour comes in at #72.
