Dobbs Day One @ 7: A Ratings Improvement

Dobbs_1107.jpgOn his first day at 7pmET, CNN’s Lou Dobbs improved the time period when compared to last Monday. Dobbs’ more than doubled the A25-54 viewers in the time period (326,000) compared to the Situation Room last Monday at 7pmET (147,000). Dobbs also improved his own ratings by moving an hour later. On Oct. 29 when airing at 6pmET Dobbs had 165,000 A25-54 viewers.

This past Monday, Dobbs finished second to FNC’s Shepard Smith (452,000 A25-54), a 48% increase for Smith’s show Nov. to date. Interestingly, Hardball’s Chris Matthews at 7pmET was up week-to-week in A25-54 and total viewers (168,000 v. 185,000 in A25-54) and Glenn Beck on Headline News was down week-to-week (219,000 v 174,000 in A25-54).
