Because Dr. Sanjay Gupta is not busy enough: CNN’s chief medical correspondent “will contribute as many as 10 reports to the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric over the next year,” the network announced today.

Anderson Cooper has a similar arrangement with CBS. Gupta will continue full-time with CNN.

“I’m very pleased to be able to add Dr. Gupta’s contributions to the CBS Evening News’ expanded coverage of health and medical issues,” Sean McManus says. “I appreciate CNN’s cooperation in allowing us to utilize Dr. Gupta’s expertise on the Evening News.”
