Ed Rendell to Fox News?

KYW in Philadelphia floats the idea that outgoing PA Gov. Ed Rendell might be angling for a job at Fox News Channel as a liberal commentator.

Rumors that he could land in the Fox den probably stem from the fact that he attended the White House Correspondents’ dinner as a guest of Fox. “Do I want to be a liberal commentator? I am now in a position that I am looking for a job. So anybody who has any interest in talking to me, I will be happy to talk to. So, you know the old saying, ‘beggars can’t be choosy?’ You know, I’m in that situation.”

Yep. That’s the old saying.

By the way, at 2009′s WHCA Dinner, Rendell was the guest of NBC. Does this mean he could end up on MSNBC? Stay tuned.
