Washington Whispers asked former CBS Evening News anchor Bob Schieffer who might make a good replacement for — not Katie Couric on CBS — but for Brian Williams on the NBC Nightly News.

“I think there’s a very good chance certainly one of the contenders for that job would be Ann Curry,” says Schieffer. “It’s not out of the realm of possibility to say that the three anchors at the three networks could all be women.”
