Evening News Ratings: Week of April 16

NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was #1 in total viewers and the 25-54 demo last week.

ABC says NBC only won because of the multimedia manifesto broadcast on Wednesday. “Without Wednesday, when Nightly News broadcast contents of the package sent by Seung-Hui Cho, World News would have been #1 for the week,” the net says.

For the week of April 16:

Total viewers: NBC: 8,570,000 / ABC: 8,480,000 / CBS: 6,570,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2.3/10 / ABC: 2.1/9 / CBS: 1.8/7
