Evening News Ratings: Week of Dec. 1

NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams won both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo last week, but the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric scored big as well — amassing its largest Total Viewer average since the week of March 3.

Week-to-week, all networks were up in the demo while ABC and CBS grew in Total Viewers. Last week’s The Thanksgiving week average for ABC and CBS was based on three days, while NBC’s included Friday as well. ABC World News with Charles Gibson grew the most in both categories week-to-week.

Total Viewers: NBC: 9,430,000 / ABC: 8,760,000 / CBS: 6,810,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 3,050,000 / ABC: 2,710,000 / CBS: 2,070,000

25-54 rating: NBC: 2.5/9 / ABC: 2.2/8 / CBS: 1.7/6
