The NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams beat ABC’s World News Tonight by over one million viewers for the week of Dec. 5, NBC says. NN was #1 in all categories, including the 25-54 demo. Among total viewers, NBC had 10,513,000 viewers while ABC had 9,418,000 and CBS had 8,270,000.![]()

Meanwhile, CBS staffers are excited by the recent ratings gains for the CBS Evening News with Bob Schieffer. The program has “increased its total viewers by +970,000 viewers (8.27 million from 7.30 million) and its household delivery by +10 percent (5.7/11 from 5.2/10) for the week of Dec. 5, while NBC and ABC decreased in total viewers and households compared to last year,” a CBS press release said.![]()
