The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric had its best week in Total Viewers since the week of February 26, while NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams finished first in that category for the seventh straight week. Nightly News and ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson finished in a tie for first place in the A25-54 demo. NBC and ABC were down from last week in both categories, while CBS was up — by as much as 380,000 in total viewers. Could it have something to do with the internet clip circulating last week showing a funny, behind-the-scenes Couric?
