Evening News Ratings: Week of Jan. 19

For the week of the Inauguration, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was again the top-rated evening newscast in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. It was the 15th consecutive week NBC was #1 in Total Viewers and the ninth in a row in the demo.

During Inauguration night, NBC edged ABC World News for first place as well. NBC averaged 10,937,000 viewers, compared to 10,747,000 for ABC and 7,385,000 for CBS.

Week-to-week, ABC was the only network to grow in Total Viewers and the demo.

Total Viewers: NBC: 10,120,000 / ABC: 9,170,000 / CBS: 7,090,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 3,350,000 / ABC: 3,060,000 / CBS: 2,320,000

25-54 rating: NBC: 2.7/9 / ABC: 2.5/9 / CBS: 1.9/6
