Evening News Ratings: Week of Jan. 26

The week after the Inauguration saw even more viewers for the evening newscasts, with NBC Nightly News finishing on top again in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. All three broadcasts grew week-to-week in Total Viewers, and NBC and CBS were up in the demo.

The CBS Evening News had its highest Total Viewer average since the week of February 12, 2007, and its highest in the demo since the week of February 26, 2007. It also grew the most of any broadcast in Total Viewers week-to-week.

ABC World News had its highest Total Viewer average since the week of February 11, 2008.

Total Viewers: NBC: 10,300,000 / ABC: 9,340,000 / CBS: 7,720,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 3,550,000 / ABC: 2,920,000 / CBS: 2,540,000

25-54 rating: NBC: 2.9/10 / ABC: 2.4/8 / CBS: 2.0/7
