Evening News Ratings: Week of January 3
For the first full week of 2011, “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” had a nearly 1.5 million Total Viewer lead on its closest competitor, “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer,” while Sawyer led the “CBS Evening News with Katie Couric” by more than 2 million Total Viewers.
The combined average for the three newscasts last week was 24,660,000, that’s down from a combined 27,240,000 during the same week last year.
