Evening News Ratings: Week of July 14

NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was the top rated evening news program last week, winning in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. Just 20,000 viewers separated NBC from ABC’s World News in Total Viewers, however.

It was the lowest Total Viewers average for NBC in more than a year. Ann Curry filled in for Williams Wednesday-Friday last week.

All networks saw week-to-week drops in Total Viewers, with NBC up week-to-week in the demo.

Total Viewers: NBC: 7,230,000 / ABC: 7,210,000 / CBS: 5,530,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2,310,000 / ABC: 2,160,000 / CBS: 1,600,000

25-54 rating: NBC: 1.9/8 / ABC: 1.8/8 / CBS: 1.3/6
