Evening News Ratings: Week of July 17

There’s no asterisk next to the NBC Nightly News ratings win last week. NBC beat ABC in all categories, including the 25-54 demo. Here’s the NBC press release. ABC notes that Charles Gibson had more total viewers on Wednesday and Friday. 70,000 demo viewers separated the two broadcasts. For the week of July 17:

Total viewers; NBC: 7,960,000 / ABC: 7,570,000 / CBS: 6,900,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2.2/9 / ABC: 2.1/9 / CBS: 1.8/7

Homes: NBC: 5.5/12 / ABC: 5.3/11 / CBS: 4.7/10
