Evening News Ratings: Week of July 18
Both “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” and “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” saw year-over-year and week-to-week ratings growth, though “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” was down slightly from the same week in 2010. “CBS Evening News” was up compared to last week.
As has become typical, NBC won the week, with ABC coming in second and CBS third. ABC cut the total viewer gap to less than half a million, despite Sawyer’s absence Wednesday-Friday.
