Evening News Ratings: Week of July 6

All three evening newscasts were down in Total Viewers week-to-week last week, following the death of Michael Jackson which gave a spike in viewership the two weeks prior.

NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams wins again with an 800,000 Total Viewer lead over #2 ABC World News with Charles Gibson.

Gibson’s broadcast was the only show to grow in younger viewers week-to-week, up 3% — its best delivery since the week of June 1.

Total Viewers: NBC: 7,830,000 / ABC: 7,020,000 / CBS: 5,290,000

A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2,390,000 / ABC: 2,020,000 / CBS: 1,570,000
