Evening News Ratings: Week of June 11
“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was America’s number one newscast last week, out-delivering #2 “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” by +794,000 total viewers.
Compared to last week all three shows gained in total viewers, but compared to last year all three were down in total viewers and younger viewers.
Due to NBA, NHL and U.S. Open coverage, ABC’s weekly average is based on three days (Mon, Wed and Fri) and NBC’s is based on two days (Tues and Wed). CBS’s average is based on five days.
