Evening News Ratings: Week of March 9

Make it 22 weeks in a row for NBC Nightly News. The Brian Williams broadcast was the top-rated evening newscast last week beating #2 World News by more than a million viewers.

All three newscasts were down in Total Viewers week-to-week. Only the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric was up in the A25-54 demo. With the start of Daylight Saving Time, TV usage generally declines.

Total Viewers: NBC: 8,940,000 / ABC: 7,810,000 / CBS: 6,370,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2,770,000 / ABC: 2,380,000 / CBS: 2,050,000
