Evening News Ratings: Week of Oct. 15

For the third time in four weeks, NBC Nightly news with Brian Williams has won the evening news race in total viewers. World News with Charles Gibson once again takes the A25-54 demo crown for the week. Again last week, all three broadcasts gained viewers from the week before. The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric was up the most: +310,000 in total viewers, week to week. This was Couric’s best week in six months (Week of April 16 — 6,570,000).

Total viewers: ABC: 8,100,000 / NBC: 8,200,000 / CBS: 6,410,000

25-54 demo: ABC: 2,580,000 / NBC: 2,510,000 / CBS: 2,010,000

25-54 rating: ABC: 2.1/9 / NBC: 2.0/9 / CBS: 1.6/6
