Evening News Ratings: Week of Sept. 22

ABC’s World News comes in first beating NBC Nightly News by just 90,000 Total Viewers. The broadcasts tied in the A25-54 demo. All three shows were up during the busy news week which saw the bailout bill debate, the on-again off-again presidential debate and Katie Couric‘s interview with Gov. Sarah Palin. The CBS Evening News was up 10% in Total Viewers from the prior week.

Total Viewers: ABC: 8,070,000 / NBC: 7,980,000 / CBS: 5,990,000

25-54 demo: ABC: 2,570,000 / NBC: 2,570,000 / CBS: 1,910,000

25-54 rating: ABC: 2.1/9 / NBC: 2.1/9 / CBS: 1.5/6
