Evening News Ratings: Week of Sept. 29

NBC Nightly News was back on top in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo last week. NBC and ABC were down week-to-week in Total Viewers, while Katie Couric‘s interviews with Gov. Sarah Palin gave the CBS Evening News its best 5-day Total Viewer average since the week of March 24. ABC was down slightly week-to-week in the demo, CBS and NBC were up slightly.

Total Viewers: NBC: 7,900,000 / ABC: 7,820,000 / CBS: 6,210,000

25-54 demo: NBC: 2,600,000 / NBC: 2,480,000 / CBS: 1,990,000

25-54 rating: NBC: 2.1/9 / ABC: 1.9/8 / CBS: 1.4/6
