Evening Newscasts: In 25-54 Demo, ABC Beats NBC Two Quarters In A Row

“Even without a permanent anchor for almost six months, ABC’s World News Tonight has overtaken NBC Nightly News for the past two quarters in the news demographic of adults 25-54,” Paul Gough recaps. “It’s the first time since 1996 that ABC has been able to record back-to-back quarterly wins in the demo.” It’s a razor-thin win — ABC had 2.86 million demo viewers, compared to NBC’s 2.84 — but a win nonetheless…
